Lava Monster named Dorbog

Here's the in progress concept art for one of the boss monsters that will hopefully show up in the game.

His name is Dorbog, and he lives in lava.

Working Storyline

So the working story so far is as follows....


Young (lets say Billy) is currently attending (lets say Blueberg) Elementary school, or possibly Junior High. The day has ended and the amount of homework is immense, and on top of that, Billy needs to do well on all of it or else he'll be forced to do (dun, dun, duun...) janitorial assistance! (Still a working idea) So as Billy heads to his locker before the bus comes, the school bully comes by and shoves him into his locker. Now stuck, no way out, Billy notices a small peel on the inside wall of the locker. Curious, and with nothing else to do until someone gets him out, he pulls back the peel, only to reveal a strange tunnel; and without watching his step, he tumbles in, with all of his homework following! After a long tunnel ride, he lands right in the middle of a strange hallway, strikingly similar to that of his own lockers hallway. And while being in a strange, dark, creepy, and unknown place, his priority is to get all of the homework that fell with him, but tragically, none of it is to be found, except a lone sheet, sitting right in front of him. As he goes to pick it up, he notices it's a math sheet with writing on the back of it. "The school has your work now, find it if you can." Unsure of where he is, where to go, what happened to his work, and what kind of things lurk in this place, waiting for him, he ventures off to the nearest classroom, hoping to find some answers...
